Harlem Village Academies Teacher Referral Plan
Harlem Village Academies recognizes that excellent teachers make excellent schools! We believe that one of the most effective resources for recruiting excellent teachers for our schools is through referrals. Our teacher referral plan will provide you with the opportunity to receive a referral fee once the candidate is hired.
Anyone may refer a teacher! We are committed to providing our students with talented and passionate teachers and we welcome any connections to excellent educators you can provide us!
How does the referral plan work?
Harlem Village Academies is always looking for talented educators and appreciates your recommendations. Subject to Harlem Village Academies' discretion, if you recommend someone who is hired on a full-time, permanent basis, you may be eligible to be paid a referral fee. The current total possible referral fee for a full-time employee is $500. You will be eligible to be paid $250 once the employee has worked for Harlem Village Academies for 6 months. You will be eligible for payment of the remaining $250 if and after the employee has worked 15 months. To claim your referral fee, please ask the person you refer to mention your name and contact information on their employment application. No referral fees will be paid unless the name of the referring person is on the employee's original employment application. If your recommendation is hired, Harlem Village Academies will contact you to discuss your eligibility for a referral fee.
This policy may be changed or discontinued from time to time depending on existing market conditions and business need. Only legal, US residents authorized to work in the US are eligible to receive a referral fee. Candidates for employment will not receive a referral fee for referring themselves. Recruiting firms, corporations and other legal entities are not eligible to receive a referral fee. Harlem Village Academies does not accept resumes from staffing agencies. Harlem Village Academies is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes received from staffing agencies. Referrer is responsible for any and all payroll or other taxes on any referral fees received.
