College Guidance

The HVAH College Team provides a variety of activities and programs to each grade level that include the following:

College Visits: Each grade level visits a college campus at least twice a year throughout their time at HVAH.

College Fair: Students meet a wide variety of college representatives at our annual college fair.

Mock Admissions Fair: Underclassmen and their families are exposed to the college admissions experience and work on how to enhance their own profile for admission.

College Representative Visits: Juniors and seniors identify good fit colleges by engaging with college representatives who are invited to visit HVAH throughout the fall.

Senior College Prep: Seniors take a yearlong course that prepares them for the college application and financial aid process, and supports them to transition to college.

One-on-One Counseling: Seniors meet with our college counselors to develop individualized application and transition plans.
